The KAIROS project participated in the Aerospace Tech Week Americas, an event that took place from 14 to 15 November in Atlanta, USA.
The project coordinator, Aniel Jardines (from AI Methods) participated in the round table "Predictive Flight Operations from Real-Time Data" held from 11:00 to 12:30.
A. Jardines presented the origin, objectives and methodology of the KAIROS project, and delved into the power of AI to make real-time weather predictions for improved flight operations.
The panel included three industry leaders who brought their expertise to the discussion: Nick Godwin, Director & Conference Consultant at NSG Aero; Cheyenne Kessinger, Fueling Analytics and Sustainability responsible from UPS Airlines; and Dr. Adam Suarez, Director of Engineering at Flight Aware.
Aerospace Tech Week Americas provides a unique opportunity for aerospace technology professionals to strengthen their network of contacts and was a great occasion to raise awareness of the KAIROS project, funded by SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking, beyond European borders.
